LANGUAGE LAB

Acquiring Good communication skills can be a hard task but not impossible. If one wants to reach out to people, he or she has
to speak their language. The English language, in particular, has become essential in the lives of young people who aspire to
advance their careers anywhere in the world. Keeping this in mind, the school has language lab. The language lab is an audio
or audio-visual installation used as an aid in modern language teaching. Through language lab, it is possible for a teacher to
work synchronously and ‘live’ with students on their own, in pairs and in groups, thus enhancing student’s vocabulary,
pronunciation and command on language which helps in better teaching and learning experience.
Benefits of introducing Language Lab :
It provides equal opportunity to all the students to hear the instructor irrespective of place where they are seated.
It motivates students to talk freely and lose the shyness when talking in front of their friends.
It develops the listening and communication skills, since they hear correct pronunciation through their headphones.
The student’s progress can also be monitored regularly so that teacher can provide feedback based on individual pace and ability.
